Ember
Acceptable Use Policy
Effective date: June 12, 2026
Ember is a reputation-building tool for legitimate senders. It is not a spam tool, and this policy exists to keep it that way. It is part of the Terms of Service, and we enforce it.
Mailboxes: yours, or explicitly consented
- You may connect only mailboxes you own or that their owner has explicitly authorized you to manage (for example, a client fleet you run as a deliverability consultant, with the client's written consent).
- The connect flow requires you to confirm ownership or consent for every mailbox. That confirmation is binding.
- Connecting a mailbox you are not authorized to control is grounds for immediate termination, and where appropriate, a report to the mailbox provider.
No spam enablement
- Ember sends warmup email only between mailboxes connected to your own fleet. There is no recipient-list upload, no contact import, no scraping, and no feature that emails third parties — by design, and you may not attempt to add one.
- You may not use Ember to warm mailboxes whose purpose is sending unsolicited bulk email, phishing, fraud, or any unlawful content. "It's just warmup, the spam happens elsewhere" is not a defense — supporting abusive sending is itself a violation.
- You may not use warmed mailboxes in ways that violate anti-spam law (CAN-SPAM, GDPR/PECR, CASL, or equivalents in your jurisdiction).
No anti-abuse bypass
- You may not use Ember to evade, probe, or defeat any provider's anti-abuse, rate-limiting, or filtering systems.
- You may not attempt to manipulate placement measurements, spoof warmup headers, or interfere with other customers' fleets.
Provider terms and volume ceilings
- You are responsible for complying with your mail providers' terms of service. Some providers restrict automated mail activity; connecting a mailbox is your representation that you accept that responsibility.
- Ember enforces a hard ceiling of 50 warmup emails per mailbox per day, ramps gradually, jitters send times, and slows automatically when a mailbox shows spam trouble. You may not attempt to exceed or circumvent these limits.
Enforcement
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this policy, with notice where practicable and immediately where the violation is abusive. If you are unsure whether a use is acceptable, ask first: legal@1labs.ai. To report abuse of Ember, email support@1labs.ai.
